Professor Satoshi Narihara

Visiting Researcher, Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP), RIKEN, and Associate Professor of Information Law at Kyushu University Faculty of Law

Professor Satoshi Narihara studies information law. His current research topics include freedom of expression, privacy and data protection, and legal issues pertaining to AI and robotics. After graduating from the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies at the University of Tokyo, he served as an assistant professor at the Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies at the University of Tokyo, and as a senior researcher at the Institute for Information and Communications Policy within the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. He has been an associate professor of information law at Kyushu University since March 2018.
